Reducing E-Mails
AnsweredThis is another feature request to reduce the number of e-mails TaxCaddy generates. Yesterday I uploaded 25+ documents... and got 25+ e-mails. And that was without uploading individual receipts! Again, I'm not sure why I should get an e-mail in this circumstance (I did upload the file, after all)---maybe it's leftover from beta testing? If you want to send e-mails, how about just a single "session summary" every time I log off. Something like this:
At your last session, you:
- completed N% of your questionnaire
- uploaded X documents
- sent Y messages to your CPA
- received Z messages from your CPA
You still have:
- M% of your questionnaire to complete
- Q requested documents to upload

Hi David. We love the session summary idea. It won't be a part of the May release and I can't yet mark this as officially planned but we will consider it very seriously. If we decide to add it we will update this feature request. Thanks again for taking the time to add these ideas. We want the future development to be driven by ideas like this and customers like you.
