Certain types of documents requested by your tax professional can be fulfilled by completing a fillable form. Once the form has been completed, it will be moved to the uploaded documents tab.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac or tablet
Follow these steps to resolve a Document Request by completing a fillable form:

Log in to TaxCaddy.com.

Click Documents.
- If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, select the correct TAX RETURN profile.
- Click Requested Items to view pending requests for your selected tax return.

Click the Tax Year menu to select the relevant tax year.

Under Documents Requested, the Fillable Form
icon indicates that a fillable form is attached to this document request. You can either fill the form or upload the requested document. To continue, click the Menu
icon on the document tile.

If the requested document is a fillable form then you will see Complete Form as an option on the document tile. Click Complete Form.
If you decide to upload a document rather than complete the form, you will be alerted that this will replace the attached fillable PDF and any data you've provided to it.
Click CONTINUE to upload your document, or click COMPLETE FORM to fill the PDF your tax professional has provided. -
Fill out the form in the Document Viewer.
Document data is auto saved as you type. You can return back and continue from where you left.

Once you have completed the form, click SUBMIT to upload the form.

On the Submit Documents dialog box, select the check box then click Submit. Once the document is submitted, it can no longer be modified.

The document will be uploaded to the Uploaded Documents tab.
To redo the fillable form, delete the document from the Uploaded Documents tab. However, once the uploaded form has been deleted, it will be restored to its original state on the Requested Items tab. All entered data will be deleted.
iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to resolve a Document Request by completing a fillable form on your iOS mobile phone app:

Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app then tap the Documents icon.

Select the applicable tax year.
- If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, tap the Tax Return drop-down menu to select the tax return profile.

Tap the Requested tab if it is not already selected.

Under the To Upload category, tap the Menu
icon on the document you want to complete.

If the requested document is a fillable form then you will see the Fillable Form icon
on top and Complete Form as an option on the document menu. Tap Complete Form.

Fill the form in the Document Viewer.

Once you have completed the form, tap Submit to upload the form.

On the dialog box, tap Agree & Submit. Once the document is submitted, it can no longer be modified.

The document will appear on the UPLOADED tab. The document menu will show Form Completed.
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to resolve a Document Request by completing a fillable form on your Android mobile phone app:

Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app, then tap the Menu

- If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, tap the Tax Return drop-down menu to select the tax return profile.

Under the To Upload category, tap the Menu

on top and Complete Form as an option on the document menu. Tap Complete Form.
