Release Notes 2019-07-09, Web 3.6 (Document Viewer, log in) – TaxCaddy

Welcome back! Here's what's new in TaxCaddy.

Document Viewer updated

Document Viewer has been completely redesigned with new features and improved performance.

You can now view your document in fullscreen mode, click the floating Full-screen icon on the lower left corner.

To exit the full-screen mode, go to the top of the screen, then click the Exit Full-screen icon when it appears on the page. Alternatively, you can press ESC on your keyboard.

Sign, Download, and Review buttons on the bottom of the Document Viewer have been redesigned.

Mask/Unmask Password

When logging in, you can now click the Unmask icon to view your typed password. Similarly, you can click the Mask icon to mask (i.e *****) the password field.

Masked phone number

You will now see a partially unmasked phone number indicating where your Two-Factor Authentication code has been sent.

Design updates

You will now see a new design for the tax phase indicator shown on Documents, Messages, Tax Returns, Tax Payments, and Invoices screens.

On the Documents screen, Done Uploading and Smart Links buttons have been redesigned and moved above View Requested Items and Manage Your Documents.

Search results have been redesigned.

Tax Year selector on the Upload Documents dialog box has been redesigned.

[UPDATED 07/23/2019] The following has been amended to this release note:

Broken Smart Links Notification

You will now receive an SMS text notification when your established Smart Links connection is broken.

Note: This notification will only appear for Smart Links that have been successfully established over an hour.

Additionally, if you have the Push Notification enabled then you will also receive a push notification message on the browser window and on your mobile device.
