You can fulfill your tax professional's document request by replying to it with an amount.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac or tablet
Follow these steps to resolve a Document Request by replying with an amount:

Log in to TaxCaddy.com.

Click Documents.

Click the Tax Year menu to select the relevant tax year.
- If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, select the correct TAX RETURN profile.
- Click Requested Items to view pending requests for your selected tax return.

Under Document Request, click the Menu
icon on the document tile.

On the document menu, click Reply With Amount.

Reply With Amount dialog box will appear, fill the form, then click Next.
Next button will be disabled until the Amount is entered.
To reply with multiple amounts, click
Add Another Amount.
To delete an amount, click the Delete
icon.
You can add details in the Description field to specify each amount.

Reply With Amount dialog box will allow you to review the data. Click Back to make changes, click Send Reply to fulfill the document request with an amount.

The requested document will be resolved and saved in the Uploaded Documents tab. Click the document title to view the document created by Reply with Amount.

iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to reply with an amount on your iOS mobile phone app.

Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app then tap the Documents icon.

Select the applicable tax year.
- If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, tap the Tax Return drop-down menu to select the tax return profile.

If you're not on the Requested tab, then tap the Requested tab.

Under the To Upload category, tap the Menu icon
on the document you want to upload.

On the menu, tap Reply With Amount.

On the Reply With Amount screen, fill the form, then tap Send Reply.
In order to continue, you must enter an Amount and/or Comment.

When the Confirm Reply dialog box appears.
Tap Yes to resolve this document request.
Tap No to close without saving changes.
A confirmation message will appear on top. -
The requested document will be resolved and saved in the Uploaded tab. Tap the uploaded document to view it in the Document Viewer.

The resolved document request will show Description, Amount, and Comments.
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to reply with an amount on your Android mobile phone app.
- Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app, then tap the Menu icon.
- Tap Tax Documents.
- If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, tap the Tax Return drop-down menu to select the tax return profile.
- Under the To Upload category, tap the Menu
icon on the document you want to upload.

On the menu, tap Reply With Amount.

On the Reply With Amount screen, fill the form, then tap Send Reply.

If you see the Required Field Missing dialog box then tap OK. You must enter an Amount and/or Comment to continue.

When the Confirm Reply dialog box appears.
Tap OK to resolve this document request.
Tap Cancel to close without saving changes. -
The requested document will be resolved and saved in the Uploaded tab. Tap to open the document.

The resolved document request will show Description, Amount, and Comments.
