Tax payment vouchers help you keep track of the tax payments that are due. When your tax professional is done preparing your tax payment voucher, they will upload it to the Tax Payments section. Additionally, you can also use TaxCaddy to pay your Federal and State tax payments by check. When you make a payment through TaxCaddy, a paper check will be mailed to the proper taxing authority.

TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac or tablet
Follow these steps to view your tax payment voucher when using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.

Sign in to TaxCaddy.com
- If your tax professional has uploaded a tax payment voucher to your account, you can click Pay - Tax Payment(s) to view these payment vouchers.
A list of your tax payments for the current tax year will appear to the right of your Task List in the Tax Payments panel.If you don't see a certain tax payment, click the Tax Payments tab (from the top navigation bar) to view tax payments belonging to other tax years.
- Your unpaid tax payments will be shown by default.
Click Unpaid to only view unpaid tax payments.
Click Paid to only view tax payments that you've already paid or marked as paid. - Your tax payments will be sorted by the month that each is due. You will also see the tax return type, the DUE DATE, PAYMENT NAME/TYPE, AMOUNT, and PAYMENT OPTIONS information for each tax payment.
If the PAY feature on a tax payment is disabled and you see Do Not Pay listed as the PAYMENT TYPE, then your tax professional must set up this payment to be payable by check and clear the tax payment for official use with the taxing authority. Please contact your tax professional to address this.
- Click a listed tax payment voucher to view the tax payment document attached.
You can also open the tax payment voucher document from the document's tile menu. Click the Menuicon, when the options appear, click View.
- The tax payment voucher that you clicked will appear in the Overview screen's Document Viewer to the right.
Alternatively, you can click the Tax Payments tab or the View Upcoming Tax Payments Due tile to view your tax payments.
Tax Payment Status
When viewing your tax payments from the Tax Payments tab (note in the Overview screen), the Status column on tax payment vouchers allows you and your tax professional to track your tax payment status.
Status | Description |
Unpaid |
Tax payment has not been paid (Marked as Paid/Pay by Check). |
Past Due |
Tax payment has not been paid and is now passed the due date. If you already made the tax payment then mark the tax payment voucher as paid. |
Paid |
Tax payment voucher has been marked as paid by you or your tax professional. You can inform your tax professional that you made the tax payment by marking the tax payment as paid. Click here to learn more about marking tax payment voucher as paid. |
Payment Sent |
Tax payment check has been mailed to the taxing authority using the Pay by Check feature. Click here to learn more about paying tax payments by check. |
iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to view your tax payment voucher on your iOS mobile phone app.

Log in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.

Tax payment vouchers that have been uploaded to your account will appear on the Overview screen. Tap Pay - Tax Payment(s) to open your tax payments.
If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account, tap the SELECT TAX RETURNS drop-down menu to view your available tax return profiles.Click here to learn more about 1041 tax return profiles in TaxCaddy.
Alternatively, you can tap More on the navigation tab, then tap Tax Payment. -
You will see tax payments grouped by the month that each is due.
The All tax year option will be selected by default. If you'd like to only see tax payments belonging to a specific tax year, select it from the Tax year menu. -
Tap Paid to see tax payments you already paid.
Tap Unpaid to see tax payments that need to be paid (selected by default). If you have already paid a tax payment voucher then you or your tax professional can mark the tax payment as paid.Status Icon Description Tax payment voucher has been marked as paid or paid by check. Tap on the tax payment voucher you want to view.
You can also view the tax payment voucher by using the Menuicon on the right side of the voucher. Tap the Menu
icon, then tap View Voucher.

The tax payment voucher will open in the viewer.
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to view your tax payment voucher on your Android mobile phone app.
