Hi everyone, here's what's new in TaxCaddy this month:
Declining spouse-only signature requests
You can now decline spouse-only signature requests from your tax professional. If you have not yet indicated your marital status within your TaxCaddy account settings (or if you've already indicated that you do not have a spouse), you can now decline spouse-only signature requests to complete the pending task.

When you click a spouse-only signature request from your task list, you'll see START SIGNATURE PROCESS appear at the bottom of the document. Click START SIGNATURE PROCESS to begin fulfilling this request.
Certain documents may require a spouse's signature if applicable. If you've previously indicated that you do not have a spouse (in your account settings), the Sign Document dialog box will now give you the option to make the correction and continue, or decline a spouse signature.
- Click FILE JOINTLY WITH YOUR SPOUSE to update your marital status and give your spouse the option to sign the request.
Click here to learn more about fulfilling a signature request as a spouse. - Click DECLINE SIGNATURE to fulfill the signature request by marking it as DECLINED.
If you have not yet disclosed your marital status in your account settings, the Start Signature Process dialog box will give you the chance to select your marital status. If you click I Do Not Have a Spouse, you will be able to click DECLINE SIGNATURE to fulfill this request and return to your task list.
